Martha Hall Bowman is the publisher of LIfe in the Midwest. She is joined by Casi Owens, who is assistant editor for this online magazine.

Life in the Midwest has an assortment of writers and researchers who contribute to each publication. The list of our experts grows regularly, but here's a list of writers and researchers right now:

Marenda Babcock is the author of several books on being frugal, including "Frugal Fun for Kids," "Frugal Cooking" and "Free Fun in Indiana." She lives near Greenfield with her husband and son. She can be reached at FrugalTime@aol.com

Gabrielle Chosney is a freelance writer who lives in McCordsville with her husband and two cats. She works for an Indianapolis-based publishing company.

Michelle Dirks is a freelance researcher who lives in Chicago with her husband and daughter.

Deb Dulworth is a freelance writer who has lived in Gas City all her life. Married for 30 years, she has two children. She has extensive experience in working with senior groups.

Beth D'Addono is a freelance writer for the topics of food, lifestyles and travel. She is married and lives in Belmont Hills, Penn.

Mark Glass is the magazine's travel editor. A freelance writer, Mark is also a full-time lawyer in St. Louis.

Linda Hanna is a freelance writer and editor who lives in north central Indiana. She has worked in a variety of capacities, from telephone operator to director for three senior adult groups. She has been married for 29 years and has three adult daughters.

Jerry Harpt is a retired teacher and counselor, having received his master's degrees in secondary school counselor. He now enjoys writing for various publications in the areas of adventure, travel and human interest. He has had stories published in the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" book series, as well as "Country Discoveries" and "Silent Sports" magazines.
