2003 Will Be an Exciting Year in Wilbur's Birthplace!

Wilbur Wright circa 1909
On Dec. 17, 1903, Wilbur and Orville Wright made history. For a breathtaking 12 seconds, they kept their Wright Flyer in the air, the first powered flight in aviation history.

Did you know that Wilbur Wright was born right here in Indiana? His birthplace is a wonderful museum in rural Henry County, near Millville.

There is a full schedule at the Wilbur Wright Birthplace & Interpretive Center for 2003, including the Centennial of Flight Festival June 20-22. More updates will be in upcoming issues.
