Henry County Can Keep You Busy All Season!

Hot chocolate, snow angels, holiday shopping and basketball…they all define Indiana winters. Do you know what you will be doing this winter? Henry County has a plethora of activities, including shopping at our large variety of holiday bazaars, enjoying ice fishing at our lovely lakes and experiencing high school baskeball’s finest teams compete at our prestigious tournaments. The annual City Securities Hall of Fame Classic Basketball Tournament is this December. This year’s invitation only teams are Bloomington North vs Hamilton Southeastern and East Chicago vs Evansville Memorial on the girls side. The boys side features Bellmont vs Muncie Central and Washington vs Carmel. We also have a nice variety of places to shop including Christmas trees at Ratliff’s Pine Retreat and Christmas Tree Farm. Below is a sampling of the wonderful array of things for you and your family to choose from to keep busy this Winter (and a sneak peak at a few 2005 events). For a full list of events, go to the calendar of events section on the website, henrycountyin.org. Call the Henry County Convetion and Visitors Burau for more information on any of these events or to plan an outing in Henry County (765-593-0764 or 888-676-4302). Enjoy Henry County!
